Andorra - a day out and a chance to stock up on VERY cheap booze.

This is a lovely day out, with a ride through the beautiful Pyrenees.

There are numerous stopping places for pic-nics, walking and cycling.

If you choose to go all the way to Andorra you need to allow about two and half hours of steady driving. This will bring youi to Pas de la Casa which is one of the main ski resorts in Andorra. You will find shops supplying very cheap booze, cigarettes and electrical items amongst a plethera of bars and cafes.

It might be cold - you can expect the temperature in Pas de la Casa to be between 10 and 15 degrees Centigrade lower than in Carcassonne - take jumpers and coats!
